To tackle Climate Change, Zero emission Fuels Such as green hydrogen are being explored and developed upon, The demand and focus on green hydrogen has increased immensely. On January 4, 2023 the Union Cabinet approved the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The initial outlay for the Mission will be Rs.19,744 crore for S.I.G.H.T programme, Pilot Projects, Research & Development and Skill Development. National green Hydrogen Mission aims to turn India into global hub for Production, utilization and export of green hydrogen and its derivatives. Hydrogen becoming cleanest form of energy that would meet global demand while fulfilling climatic action goals.
