In August 2024, Hygenco Green Energies signed an MoU with Mitsubishi Power to explore delivering
green hydrogen and ammonia-fired gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) power plants. The goal is to offer
these solutions in India and internationally. Mitsubishi Power is developing technologies to switch GTCC
plants from natural gas to hydrogen or ammonia, helping to decarbonize existing plants. The company
has been involved in similar projects globally.
