Baghdad’s Ministry of Industry has confirmed it is studying the development of green hydrogen as part of its clean energy agenda aimed at transitioning to a low-emission economy. Ministry spokesperson Dhuha Al-Jubouri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that the government is “adopting a clear strategic approach to integrate the concept of green industries into its structure and future plans,” supporting sustainable development and carbon reduction goals.
