The EU’s target to consume 20 million tonnes of renewable hydrogen per year by 2030 — 10 million tonnes produced domestically and 10 million tonnes imported — is “unrealistic” based on the current pipeline of projects, according to a special report published yesterday (Tuesday) by the bloc’s external independent auditors.
