Green Hydrogen Mission by the Government of India in 2021, to promote the production and use of green hydrogen in the country, there has been a lot of debate and discussion on the policy making aspect relating to the said mission. The Mission proposes to extend various facilitative policy provisions for transmission, connectivity, banking, open access, and energy storage for Green Hydrogen production projects. Consequently, the Government unveiled the Green Hydrogen Policy in February, 2022, with the aim of facilitating the commissioning of such projects that will produce, transmit and distribute green hydrogen.
