Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has received a Notification of Award from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited. The award was granted on January 30, 2025. It is for setting up a production facility with a capacity of 90,000 metric tons per year for green hydrogen in India. This project falls under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transitions Scheme, specifically under Model-1, Tranche-II.
