Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, is in Montevideo today to deepen the bilateral energy cooperation between the EU and Uruguay. The Commissioner's visit is part of the implementation of the commitments made as part of the EU-Uruguay Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on renewable energy, energy efficiency and renewable hydrogen, which was signed in Brussels last year.
