Shell's Holland Hydrogen 1, set to be Europe's largest standalone green hydrogen project, has secured a temporary grid connection while waiting to complete a dedicated high-voltage substation in 2026. This temporary measure will allow the project to begin operations as planned, utilizing electricity sourced from the Dutch offshore wind farm Hollandse Kust Noord.
