Fortescue's $3.6 Billion Brazil Green Hydrogen Project Advances with Government Approval for First Phase in Ceará

While attending an event in Brasília on Wednesday (9), Governor Elmano de Freitas signed with the Vice President of the Republic and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, Geraldo Alckmin, the resolution approving the first phase of the industrial project for the production of green hydrogen (H2V) by the Australian company Fortescue, which will be installed in an area of ​​121 hectares in Sector 2 of the Ceará ZPE. The project foresees a total investment of up to US$ 5 billion (approximately R$ 20 billion). Earlier, it had been decided in favor by the National Council of Export Processing Zones (CZPE).
