New Delhi: India will soon launch a pilot project for producing 100 MW of round the clock (RTC) power using green hydrogen as storage, said Union Minister for New & Renewable Energy RK Singh.
Speaking at the Fourth International Conference & Exhibition on Clean Energy, Singh said India aims to become the largest producer and exporter of green hydrogen and ammonia, citing the country's low-cost renewable power. He noted that India has already developed substantial manufacturing capacity for green hydrogen.
