Bonn (energate) - Despite fluctuating wind volumes and slightly lower temperatures, there were few changes on the short-term electricity markets last week. Spot prices remained almost constant at an average of 114 €/MWh. The marginal costs for green hydrogen fell slightly on a weekly basis. Hydex Green averaged 190 €/MWh (6.32 €/kg) for the week, down 0.7 €/MWh (0.02 €/kg) on the previous week.
The hourly-optimised Hydex 12 Green also fell slightly by 0.5 €/MWh (0.02 €/kg) and recorded an average value of 175 €/MWh (5.83 €/kg). The intraday optimisation potential of hydrogen production based on the Hydex 12 Green remained constant at 15 €/MWh (0.48 €/kg).
