Dublin-based Phelan Green Energy is set to construct a green hydrogen plant in La Joya, located in Peru’s Arequipa department. The plant, powered by a 1.8 GW solar facility, will have the capacity to produce 80,000 tons of green hydrogen annually. The project represents a $2.3 billion investment, as confirmed by Gustavo Adrianzen, President of the Council of Ministers of Peru.
